New NIM Express In Service

On 12 November 2020, without any celebrations, the DB Regio’s new Škoda-built double deck push-pull train started regular service with passengers in Bayern.
On the first day, the train hauled by the Emil Zátopek locomotive 102 004 made two return diagrams between München and Treuchtlingen and one between München and Ingolstadt. Starting in next week, four RB (Regionalbahn) München - Treuchtlingen and two RE (Regional Express) München - Ingolstadt services are to be operated daily from Monday to Thursday until the timetable change on 13 December 2020.
