New GTW 2/6 EMUs For Vysoké Tatry Complete

In mid-July, 495.955 was delivered to the ZSSK depot in Poprad, and it started testing on the 19th of the month. At this moment, Stadler completed the delivery of a batch of five GTW 2/6 EMUs for High Tatra narrow-gauge railways (TEŽ and OŽ), which also included the multifunctional locomotive 485.951 and a snow plough.

Testing of the vehicles in question is still underway, and from next week this will include tests on the rack-railway at Štrbské Pleso station. From 9 August, the first test runs on the Štrba - Štrbské Pleso rack line are scheduled to start.
