First Vectrons For DB Schenker Rail Polska

On 20 December 2012 in a celebration held at the Institut Kolejnictwa (Railway Institute) in Warszawa Siemens handed over two of the 23 Vectrons ordered by DB Schenker Rail Polska earlier in the month. Delivery of the rest of the batch is scheduled for completion by early 2015. The locomotives, shown here during the event, were numbered 5 170 020 (193 951) and 5 170 021 (193 952).
