With DB’s Class 628 DMUs having been granted full authorisation for operation in the Czech Republic (as Class 845), Arriva vlaky is now able to start up passenger services there. The first venture, which began on 23 September 2013, involves eight pairs of limited stop local trains between Praha and Kralupy nad Vltavou (27 km), from Mondays to Fridays, using 845 001 (former 628 246). Here we see the DMU on 24 September, the photos taken at each end of the route, together with a view of the passenger accommodation. Interior was rejuvenated and passengers are offered on-board WiFi internet and a trolley service of light refreshments.
